kyoshi kovar

This Friday will be a professional development day for the staff at Dojo Fairfield, as we take part in  the quarterly conference of the Professional Martial Arts College (ProMac) with Kyoshi Dave Kovar in New Jersey.  Accordingly, we will be cancelling the evening kickboxing class at 7:15.

Kyoshi Dave Kovar is a lifelong Martial Artist with black belts in 10 different styles—including an 8th degree black belt in Kenpo. Kyoshi Kovar opened his first school at the age of 18 in 1978 and now owns and operates eight schools in Northern California and has three affiliate schools on the West and East Coasts of the United States.  In 2007, Kyoshi Kovar was inducted to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. In 2010, he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Martial Arts Industry Association.

While we regret that we are cancelling one of our scheduled classes, the staff is incredibly excited to bring additional energy and instruction to our strong programs.
