Testing and School Closings

We’re winding down 2013, and on the brink of the new year.  Here’s a reminder of our testing and school closing schedule for the next couple of weeks.
This Thursday will be our December test.  Our karate test will begin at 6pm, and our kickboxing test will begin at 7pm.  There will be no regularly scheduled classes on testing day.

Our Black Belt Test will be held this Saturday – December 21st.  Current Black Belt students must report to the school by 12pm for forms.  Bo-Black students going for their first degree Black Belt must report to the school by 1pm sharp (sooner, if you’d like to warm up).

We will NOT be running any classes on Saturday December 21st, as we will be preparing for the Black Belt Test.  If you are a student, and would like to watch the test from the mat, you must be dressed in a SMA uniform (belt included), and may only enter on the mat ONE TIME – once you leave, you must stay in the viewing area in order to watch the test. All students, family and friends are welcome to watch the test from the viewing area, for any duration of time.

We will be open for classes on Monday December 23rd, and will be closed between Tuesday December 24th and Wednesday January 1st.  Classes will resume on Thursday January 2, 2014.

We hope to see you on the mat, but in the event we don’t – please enjoy a safe a happy holiday season!
